What these measures mean to college students:
Higher textbook costs - With rising tuition, Measure B burdens students by increasing taxes on textbooks.
More inequities - The Measure B tax hits the low-income people the hardest, to fund one train line designed for wealthy commuters. Measure B would harm countywide bus service, light rail, and Caltrain.
Deceptive - Measure D takes away your right to approve VTA’s plans. Measure C asks you to approved an unfinished transportation plan “to be adopted” after the election.
